The Northfield Pride Committee is offering a $1000 flexible education scholarship to one outstanding LGBTQIA+ graduating high school senior who lives in Northfield, attends Northfield schools, or lives within 15 miles. The winner will be publicly announced at the Pride in the Park celebration on Saturday, June 1, in Northfield's Central Park.
We use "flexible education scholarship" to indicate that the award funds may be used toward any type of post-secondary education, whether that be a 2 or 4 year college, trade school, training courses, or a certificate program.
Applications are due April 15, and the winner will be notified by May 4. The winner is not required to be present at Pride in the Park on June 1 to win, but we hope that you will be! We would love for the winning youth to have the opportunity to bask in the glow of the community's appreciation and applause.
